Let customers to raise a hand for a case study or advocacy program with an "Apply to be Featured" button on your website.
Let your customers raise their hand to participate in a customer story or other advocacy activities by including an "Apply to be Featured" button on your Customers page. Advertise this button in your customer newsletter, and reinforce it by sharing out the customers you do feature on social, in emails, and on your site.

This works particularly well if it inherently helps your customers to get more exposure - e.g. you have a product that helps them create websites, find clients or users, or where exposure is beneficial.
Create a "I want to be featured" intake form in Airtable (see template from Memberstack) including key details about that customer's use case and success story.
You can also include fields for other information that lets you prioritize customers for different advocacy actions.
From there, you just need to add an "Apply to be Featured" button on your customers page (e.g. at the top of the case studies).
Connect that button to the form, and voila, you've got an easy way for customers to raise their hand to participate and get featured. Consider this your inbound funnel for customer features.
